The Big Design Market

From the 4th to the 6th to the December, "over 230 stallholders across homewares, textiles, fashion, furniture, lighting, stationery, lifestyle & kids products" will come together to form this year's 'The Big Design Market'. With Christmas just around the corner, it's the perfect time to get your gifting sorted, and support some incredible local creators.

Here are a list of some of our favourites:

Georgia Perry: Is your outfit lacking Beyonce's face? Georgia Perry, and her collection of funky badges and key rings have you sorted.

Able and Game: My 'Wacky Feline Woman' tote bag is the new light and love in my life. Cats feature heavily on their tea towels, tote bags and cards (among other magical things).

The Souvenir Society: As someone who finds the wrapping as exciting as the present within, The Souvenir Society takes care of everything from tags to re-usable wrapping cloths in stunning prints.

Emily Green: A Melbourne market classic. Her 'China Blue Range' is making us seriously 'heart eyes'.

Leah Jackson: The sweetest ceramics. With whimsical pastel tones and shape focused patterns, you'll look forward to waking up early and using one of her mugs for your morning coffee.

The Little Veggie Patch Co.: Become inspired to grow your own vegetables and herbs, the perfect summer project.

The Melbourne School of Life: For the friend who has EVERYTHING, an experience can make a for a really thoughtful gift. T.M.S.O.L provides classes that aim to develop your creativity, and inspire you to form a meaningful life path.

Taco Truck: The market will also be playing host to a number of food vendors, and Taco Truck is sure to be a favourite. The weather this weekend is looking perfect so when you're done shopping, you can grab some food and have a little picnic in the surrounding gardens.
